Research interests: My work aims at understanding the ontogeny of mouse spinal motor networks from embryonic stages E11.5 to birth (P0). I am interested by the maturation of GABA/glycine chloride-mediated inhibitions at the motoneuronal level as well interneuronal. Mechanisms underlying the maturation are explored as well as the role of spontaneous activity expressed by immature neural networks. Yet, I study the role of modulatory brainstem descending inputs on the embryonic maturation of spinal motor networks.
