epilepsy ; basal ganglia ; hypothalamus ; cellular neurobiology ; neurophysiology ; Parkinson's disease ; synapse ; GABA receptor

Research interests: Our research activity focuses on the molecular and functional analysis of receptors. We have identified a new GABAA receptor subunit, revealed a dopamine receptor in subthalamic nucleus and characterized interactions between GABA- and ATP-gated channels.
